About me.
I grew up in Minnesota, where I learned early on the importance of hard work, problem solving, and treating people well. My dad owned a local business, and I spent a lot of time working alongside him in sales. I believe that experience gave me my foundation in business — learning how to connect with people and understand what they need. I was able to learn about business and being a part of helping it grow.
I stayed in MN for school and earned my degree in Engineering, which really shaped the way I think and work today. I had always loved solving problems, figuring out how things could work better, and helping people along the way. That and my foundation in engineering naturally led me through a wide range of roles from sales and marketing to executive leadership as a VP and COO.
What I enjoy most is helping small to mid-sized companies grow in a practical, sustainable way, balancing quick wins with long term goals. I enjoy stepping into situations, identifying what’s not working, connecting the dots, simplifying processes, and building strategies that actually move the business forward.
I've been able to focus on product, marketing, sales, operations, app redesign, UX optimization, and go-to-market strategy. I’m comfortable balancing both the big-picture strategy and the hands-on execution that's needed to make things happen.
Outside of work, I enjoy volunteering and finding ways to support and learn from others. I also spend a lot of time hiking and gardening. Both help me slow down, clear my head, and stay balanced. Whether I’m working with a team, solving a business challenge, or helping someone navigate a problem, I’m energized by making things better and helping people grow.
